Em & Avery Elder Win Outdoor State Championships

Fort Collins -- September, 2024
Our team members, Em and Avery Elder both won the Colorado outdoor state championship this September. Em for u18 recurve and Avery for u15 recurve. And Avery is the new state record holder for u15 recurve women's,  with a score of 610. Congrats, Elders!

Ryan Kim-Warren sets new U13 State Record in Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs -- January 20, 2024
During the Colorado State JOAD Tournament in Colorado Springs in January 2024, Ryan Kim-Warren established a new Colorado state record for the U13 Olympic Recurve category. He shot a 468 out of 600 and won Gold during the event. Awesome job, Ryan!

December 2023: Avery Elder earns Six Star Pin ​

Avery Elder earned a Six Star Pin during our December Tournament at No Limits Archery Range in Denver. Way to go, Avery! 

 

October 2023: Addy Gregory earns Six Star Pin & Bronze Olympian Pin

Colorado Springs--October 28, 2023
Addy Gregory shot TWO perfect 30s in a row, to earn her Six Star Pin, making her the first Hot Shots archer to accomplish this in the team's history). Way to go, Addy! 

On the same day, she also shot a score above 285, earning her Bronze Olympian Pin with a score of 289. That's BIG news, congrats, Addy!




 

April 2023: Sloane Smith featured in a Big Game Hunting Story

The Sunday Denver Post - April 2023
"Interest Soars Beyond Capacity" --a story about bow hunting, featured our very own Sloane Smith. 


...."For younger Coloradans such as Sloane Smith, hunting can be a coming-of-age experience. The seventh grader from Severance remembers as a young girl bringing her Barbies out of the hunting stand, where she would watch her family take down ducks in southern Arkansas. Three years ago, she harvested her first white-tail deer. "My mom got so excited she cried in the stand," Smith said. "She was so proud of me."
